Careers Information for Teachers
At St Hugh’s School, our ethos of Learning Together, Learning for Life underpins our
approach to careers education. We believe that preparation for adulthood is part of
everyday learning and that every member of staff has an important role in helping
students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for adult life.
Careers education is not a stand-alone subject. It is embedded throughout the curriculum and wider life of the school. Through everyday teaching, community experiences, employer engagement and work-related learning, staff help raise aspirations and prepare students for successful transitions beyond St Hugh’s.
The resources and links below are provided to support teachers and support staff in
embedding careers learning across the curriculum and delivering our Careers Programme consistently across all three curriculum pathways.
